Siu-Lam Li began his engineering career in 1982 and has held senior positions with a number of world-class international companies such as Honeywell Hong Kong and  a publicly listed Canadian company. His positions have included that of Director of Building Efficiency for Johnson Controls Asia.

Ir Li has extensive knowledge and experience in technical design and project execution in building services, environmental and energy efficiency systems. He has also been involved in the financial capitalisations of various venture businesses to  establish benchmarks and solve outstanding problems. He has served as an office bearer in a number of professional organisations in Hong Kong and Mainland China, Asia and North America.
                                                                              
Ir Li is a founder of GEES which stands for Green Environment and Energy Saving, a consortium driving projects towards a green future. The consortium consists of and calls for practitioners to commit to a shared platform, and contribute their wealth of experience with integrity, professionalism and dedication in order to fulfill the missions of their respective entities.

An experienced practicing railway engineer and part-time lecturer on railway engineering, CS is a professional system engineer with 30 years international project experience.  CS possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in the design, installation, testing and commissioning of multi-disciplinary and sophisticated railway systems as well as in the project management of mega-size railway projects.  CS’s career in railway engineering has been diversified, leading to involvement in many different areas of railway systems engineering and project development.

CS has abundant experience in the control system applications for railway operation and in managing SCADA based control/ management systems, ranging from the building management system (BMS) in stations, depots and control rooms to the operational critical control of signalling, traction power and tunnel ventilation. His systematic approach to system interface management is one of the key factors to the success of such systems in recent projects in Hong Kong and overseas.

CS has written and presented over 30 papers at various international conferences on system engineering, system interface management and system integration of the  SCADA system for railways.  He was the Past Chairman of the Control, Automation and Instrumentation Division of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and Past Chairman of the Institution of Electrical Engineers Hong Kong Branch.

University Adjunct Professor, Railway Engineering and Transportation Systems Specialist

Dr. Ho has been working in Universities in the UK, Hong Kong, China and Australia as an academic.  His research interests include railway engineering, transportation systems, asset management, signalling and train control, system assurance, simulation and modelling, market deregulation and privatisation. He has been involved in a range of railway-related research and consultancy projects and has published more than 100 reviewed journal and conference papers, as well as several  book chapters.

Mark was also responsible for developing, managing and promoting railway and transportation related courses and the teaching of relevant subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  He is greatly experienced in curriculum development, course accreditation, teaching and learning methodologies and course quality assurance.

Dr. Ho is a Visiting Professor at a number of universities and he is now advising KCG on course development and operation, collaboration with higher-education institutes and R&D on railway engineering.

  1. A 2-day Professional Railway Operation Training Course has been held successfully at Cyberport on 17 & 24 May 2014. The contents cover:

  1. Various training courses on railway have been conducted with MMC Gamuda JV in Malaysia.

  2. The first Higher Diploma Course on Mass Transportation Engineering  is being developed.

  3. Collaborations with renowned universities /Institutes are being explored for :

    • bridging degree and MSc degree programmes on railway signaling in Southeast Asia (overseas); and

    • Jointly held Higher Diploma Course in Mainland on railway and R & D on railway (Mainland China)

    • Joint programme for railway engineering course (Singapore)

    • Long term programme for Professional Certification Course on Railway and R & D on railway (Malaysia)

  4. MOU Signing Ceremony on UniKL and KCG Corporation Limited

    "A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been jointly signed by the President of Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), on behalf of the UniKL, and Chairman of KCG Corporation Limited (KCG) on behalf of KCG, on 31 July 2015 in the main campus of UniKL at the capital city of Malaysia. The MOU serves as the foundation for KCG to provide the expert advice and consultancy services to UniKL for their planning and organizing railway related courses at professional certificate level in Malaysia. The first series of these courses shall cover Rolling Stock (trains), Railway Signaling and Railway Traction Power systems. These courses are organized in response to the tremendous demand in the local market when the two Light Rail extension projects as well  the Klang Valley MRT Line 1 phase 1 is planned to be opened in 2016.

    UniKL is an university based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia with over 10 campuses in the country. KCG a company established in Hong Kong for planning and organizing specialized short term and formal training professional courses at diploma level and above."
